“To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.”

Elbert Hubbard

This highlights a simple truth: criticism is part of life, especially when you take action or speak up. The only way to fully avoid judgment is to do nothing at all—which also means giving up your voice and purpose. But silence and inaction come at the cost of growth and meaning. Choosing to act, even at the risk of criticism, is what leads to progress and impact.

Rather than fearing criticism, accept it as a natural part of living boldly. If you create, speak, or lead, some people will disagree—and that’s okay. It means you’re doing something that matters. It’s better to be criticized for standing for something than forgotten for standing for nothing.
